Soccer, or calcio, is as much an Italian pastime as pizza-making; but what separates Italy from the infinity of countries that similarly love soccer is that Italians are really good at it. The Italian National Football Team-gli Azzurri, as they are popularly dubbed for their sky-blue jerseys - are the defending World Cup Champions after a convincing, if controversial, victory over France in 2006. As the scores presently tally up, Italy has won four World Cups, which outdoes every soccer-playing nation savebitter rival Brazil, which has won five.

Soccer games from February through May are on Sundays at 3pm except for Sunday January 25 and Wednesday January 28 which are at 8:30pm.
